MotionServ Go- APP PRIVACY POLICY Effective date: 15 October 2026 Accounts and job data Technician accounts are supplied or authorised by an organisation. The app processes the technician's account details, assigned customers/sites/assets, job instructions, status changes, visit times, pauses, photos, notes, service information and feedback needed for field work. Organisation administrators can view authorised work records and technician performance information. It is not intended for personal or child use. Location, including background location When the organisation enables tracking and the technician explicitly starts it, the app processes GPS coordinates, timestamps and accuracy for the assigned active, running service job. Location may be collected while the screen is locked or the app is in the background so the office can follow that job. Device permissions and Android foreground notifications support this operation. Tracking is designed to stop when the job is paused/completed, tracking is stopped, or the user logs out; the server also rejects points outside an active eligible job. It is not intended to track off-duty activity or a full shift. Location tracking needs connectivity and is affected by OS restrictions. Denying location permission disables location-dependent functions; do not treat GPS as guaranteed proof of attendance. An organisation must explain its employee-tracking purpose and retention and comply with applicable workplace law. Camera, photos, network and notifications Camera/photo access supports asset and service-job images selected or captured by the user, including optional crop/resize. Upload only relevant images; they may reveal customer information or location visible in the image. Network access synchronises work and authentication. Notification permissions support operational alerts and foreground location indicators. The app does not require access to your contacts or call history for field work. Device settings allow permission withdrawal, which may limit the related feature. Offline storage and sync The app stores account-scoped cached work, pending actions and newly captured photos in protected local storage for offline work. On reconnect it sends queued actions to the organisation's service; conflicts may require review. Previously validated authentication and entitlement are time-limited offline. Do not clear app storage or discard unsent work unless you intend to remove it. Logging out/account changes separate local workspaces; uninstalling removes local app data but does not delete server records or cancel subscriptions. Sharing, retention and deletion Work information is shared with your authorised organisation and the providers needed to host, secure and operate the service. It is not sold for advertising. The organisation controls its service records; legal, safety, accounting and dispute records may need to remain even after a technician login is deleted. Use /account-deletion on the MotionServ website, or contact support@motionserv .com, to request account and associated personal-data deletion. Requests require verification; organisation-wide data cannot be deleted by an unauthorised technician. We aim to acknowledge within seven working days and process verified requests within 30 days, explaining any necessary delay or retained records. See the platform Privacy policy for additional rights and safeguards.
